  There wheelchairs are unsafe, badly maintained. My nan loaned 1 that caused her a badly bruised leg and a nasty cut as the footrests was broke and no seat belt. It gets worse when u phone up to be told my disabled 85 yr old nan must of broken it. Business or joke shop?

  Peter and his wife at Wight Phoenix Mobility saved my holiday!
  
  First full day on the Isle of Wight, first proper holiday as a powerchair user... I blew the electrics on my powered wheelchair going up an ill-advised incline and had to be aided back to my holiday accommodation by park staff. After many fruitless rounds of calls (Motability/other dealerships and repairs services) I was in a right state thinking I'd ruined our holiday on the first day.
  
  As soon as I got through to Wight Phoenix I could tell I was in safe hands and very soon Peter appeared and confirmed the problem and with a mercy dash managed to source parts just as the supplier closed.
  
  Without Phoenix Wight I'd probably still have been waiting for my dealership to call back well into Monday and the holiday would have been over by the time I could. Instead I lost maybe 3 hours and half of that was chasing my tail elsewhere.
  
  The prices were most reasonable and Peter very approachable. Thanks for helping me out of my pickle!
